3 Get Paid

Receive payment to your chosen payment method within 24 working hours of receipt and testing. If there is an issue or a change in price you disagree with, we will return your device to you free of charge.

All items are tested and processed within 24 working hours of receipt. Provided testing and grading matches the initial trade in request, payment is released within 24 working hours - so a total turnaround time of between 24 to 48 hours. If payment is being taken by PayPal, this is an instant transfer. If you have requested payment in the form of a voucher, this is issued instantly and is valid for 12 months.

We do accept damaged and faulty goods as well as pristine items! "Money for old rope" as the saying goes. Just be honest with the condition of your device and we will offer you an appropriate price for it's physical and/or working condition.

Absolutely not. Our service is free of charge. We will provide a prepaid Tracked Royal Mail or Courier label depending on product, then you can simply drop off at a convenient location or arrange a collection. If for some reason your Mac or iPad does not meet the condition stated or is faulty and the price changes - if you don't agree with the price, we return it to you for free. You can't say fairer than that.

If there is any discrepancy in the condition or working state of your device, we will let you know once our Apple Certified Mac Technicians have completed our full process. If there is an adjustment in the value we can offer you, we will advise you of that. If you don't agree, we will return it to you for free.

We can either transfer instantly via PayPal or we issue payment in vouchers which are valid for 12 months against future purchases on MacKing.co.uk. If you select the voucher option, you will get a bonus of up to £100 more added to your machines value.

We recommend that you carry out a factory reset just for peace of mind - but if you don't know how to do so or forget, don't worry. We use industry standard and government approved erasure software to securely destroy any data present on your device. Just make sure to remove your iCloud account / find my status as this will delay the process if not.

Good question. After devices are securely erased using industry leading software which meets government standards, they are cleaned and tested and resold into the EU marketplace. If you are selling us a damaged or broken device, we will split them for parts and use those parts to refurbish and prolong the life of someone elses device for years to come.
